Alex Iwobi is a Nigerian professional football player who currently plays as a winger or attacking midfielder for Arsenal FC. He was born on May 3, 1996, in Lagos, Nigeria. Iwobi is the nephew of legendary Nigerian footballer Jay-Jay Okocha. He began his youth football career with Arsenal and made his senior debut in a League Cup match against Sheffield Wednesday in October 2015.
Iwobi has since become a regular in the Arsenal team, making over 100 appearances for the club and scoring 15 goals.
